March 2 - Data Assessment

When: Wednesday, March 2 @ 12:00 PM CST

Description: Learn more about Edulog's Data Overview Report, a specialized reporting tool that provides a quick look into a district’s data, summarizing the extent and complexity of their routing system, as well as identifying potential red flags in the data. The Data Overview Report takes the reader through each major component of their transportation data, before diving headlong into identifying potential problems in the data itself. The tool is capable of handling districts both small and large. When presented alongside Edulog expertise, it can provide deeper insight into how well a system is being managed, as well as providing a clear roadmap when things need to be corrected, added, or removed. All of your questions will be answered in an interactive Q&A.

Description: Can shuttles lessen the impact of driver shortages on your school district? Learn how to properly set up shuttles in the software and when it is best to use shuttles. We'll discuss best practices so that your GPS stays up-to-date and the software models what actually happens on the road. All of your questions will be answered in an interactive Q&A.

May 4 - Summer School Routing

When: Wednesday, May 4 12:00 CST

June 1 - Student Crossings and Hazardous Streets

When: Wednesday, June 1 @ 12:00 PM CST

Description: We all know that keeping our students safe inside and outside of the bus is a priority. Because of this, avoiding crossover locations for students to board the bus or disembark the bus is a necessity. Planning for this is possible in Edulog software. In light of recommendations from the National Transportation Safety Board, join in this discussion of how districts handle this important safety issue.

July 6 - Student Lists for Drivers and Schools and Student Ridership Data – Who is Really Riding?

When: Wednesday, July 6 @ 12:00 PM CST

Description: If Covid and the Driver Shortage have taught us anything, it’s that every seat is precious. Most districts can’t afford to have empty seats while there aren’t enough drivers to cover routes. Join with others from around the country for a discussion of how to plan for accurate ridership data and how to manage student-level detail in the system. We'll discuss best practices for scenarios like drivers handling student lists, providing schools with access to student lists and bus numbers, and managing eligible students that do not ride.

October 5 - Special Education Routing

When: Wednesday, October 5 @ 12:00 PM CST

Description: Learn the terms to communicate clearly with your Special Education department. This session will focus on routing for Special Education. Do you have a schedule for implementing stops? When do you receive your SPED data for the fall? Do you use a separate data set for SPED? You'll have an opportunity to learn best practices from our community of users across North America. Please feel free to share any tips, tricks, or best practices used at your school district. All of your questions will be answered in an interactive Q&A.

November 2 - Parent Portal: Maximizing Accurate Data for Parents

When: Wednesday, November 2 @ 12:00 PM CST

Description: Launching Edulog’s Parent Portal is about providing up-to-the-minute information about bus arrivals and giving parents a window into their child’s planned bus routes. And if it reduces phone calls to the transportation office, all the better. A successful implementation is a function of the communications plan and the accuracy of the data from planning and from daily bus substitutions. We’ll demonstrate how substitutions are made on tablets and behind the scenes. Let’s talk about what has been successful (or not) for you and learn from each other.

December 7 - Athena Routing
