As a former Transportation Director of one of the largest suburban school districts in New York and now as a School Transportation Consultant assisting with thousands of student routing changes each year I have found the “one-screen routing” in the Edulog eSQL version to be invaluable. The ability to assign large groups of students quickly and to toggle from the student, stop, run, or route screen in either tabular or map view allows us to determine the feasibility of student route assignments on one screen. Routing changes that used to take a full day are now accomplished in just a couple of hours. The increase in productivity has resulted in a decrease in spending by allowing Transportation Directors additional time to do the critical analysis work necessary for fiscally responsible run and route building.
