Description: While districts usually have a base for the runs they use from year to year, routers still need to have the ability to alter those runs to accommodate changes for each year. We will build runs and practice creating any necessary changes a Transportation Office may need.
Description: This class will instruct on knowing which stages of the process are needed based upon the type of student file to be imported as well as where to place data so the desired batches can use it. We will copy and edit existing prestu.prm and stuprm.dat files to match a new format of student information and we will discuss the basic list of recommended utilities to run while importing Student records. This class will access the file structure of Edulog and will use the Edulog Maintenance Utility.
Description: Learn how to take your copied reports and shape their forms into useful reports for your district. Also learn how to add these new reports to your common reports.
Description: This course will focus on adding a boundary and posting it to a school. The automated tool that builds a boundary based on distance parameters will also be practiced and discussed.
Description: This course is designed to users responsible for managing the bell times within the system. This will focus on higher level review understanding of bell times when varying day schedules are present. This will include techniques for early-out or late start schedules, programs with varying day patterns, and other unique schedule challenges. It is designed for users that manage bell times and have a base level knowledge of working with bell times in the software.
Description: In this year’s Edutracker with Student Ridership and DTA course, we will look at Student Ridership and Driver Time and Attendance. First we will start with student tracking, searching, screen management, ridership history and understanding the differing colors and legend. Then we will dive into Driver Time and Attendance focusing on employee actions, editing time data, edit tables, and reports.
Description: The delivery of boundary information is only a small part of what districts need in order to have a smooth boundary change. Edulog has worked with clients on boundary planning projects for decades. We can help a district undertake a smooth transition to a new set of boundaries, using change management principles to help manage the cascading consequences and reactions to this kind of change.
Description: Case Studies - The role of transportation in the implementation of comprehensive school boundary redesign or more basic changes involving school boundaries or grouped transportation.
